As the NHS forecast for a gallbladder removal was 12 months I decided to go private with Mr Andrew Tsang at the Peterborough Fitzwilliam private hospital. I had my op on the 11th July 2022 and all I can say is that from the very first consultation meeting I found Mr Tsang and all the medical staff to be brilliant. He actually listened to me and gave me hope that I could start travelling and live a normal life again. The operation lasted 45 minutes but he had previously explained all about the procedure and any possible complications - I had none. I believe I was fortunate to have Mr Tsang as my surgeon. .

I received fantastic care from Mr Tsang for the very beginning, he explained the procedure to me very well, listened to my opinions and took these on board. The surgery went amazingly well and Mr Tsang’s aftercare has been exemplary. I couldn’t recommend Mr Tsang enough, he has truly changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful!

I'd previously been for other consultations at other hospitals but when attending my consultation with Mr Tsang I felt instantly at ease, was extremely comfortable. Everything was spoken about in great detail so I knew exactly stage for stage what Everything entailed. I had my operation 6 weeks ago and the healing process was extremely quick and I have never felt better. If I ever need surgery in the future it will be Mr Tsang all the way.

From my first ever conversation to with Mr Tsang following my GP's referral, I knew I could trust, not just his surgical professionalism, but his honesty and caring manner. These personal feelings were again confirmed, prior to my operation, after my operation, on the ward, and at my "signing off" meeting 6 weeks later. I was kept informed of the details of the procedure, and of the likely "recuperation and outcome". Both my wife and I owe Mr Tsang our deepest thanks for getting me back on my feet and feeling so much better so quickly, through his extremely skilled and safe pair of hands. I would recommend Mr Tsang unquestionably to anyone else requiring general surgery.

Mr Tsang came to see me in Peterborough Hospital when I was very ill with a liver problem- He reacted immediately and got me specialist treatment at another Hospital, that very same day, he put in a lot of personal time and effort to get me to a specialist and it was appreciated. - His positive and helpful attitude was a great statement for the medical profession, there is every possibility if he had not acted quickly I would not have been writing this review. Thank you Mr Tsang you are truly a great Guy.
